Slugworks Racing was formed late 2009 after the announcement of Chump Car. It was decided to run 2 events in 2010. BIR(June 5-6, 2010) and Iowa( June26-27, 2010)
The June BIR event went quite well. For 3 brand new drivers and one veteran we were happy to finish mid pack on both days.
Iowa did not go quite as well. Motor failure about 30 minutes into the 24 hour race put us at the bottom of the standing.
2011 went much better. We finished races closer to the top and have had a few top 10 finishes. Our highest place was 6th at Brainerd.
2012 is looking great. All of the failures in past event have been addressed and we are looking to be one of the fast and reliable cars out there.
